Inessa Love


INESSA LOVE is an Economist in the Finance Team of the Development Research Group. Since joining the Bank as a Young Economist in 2001, her research has focused on access to external finance and development of the domestic financial sector. In a series of recent papers she investigated the effect of financing constraints on investment; the relationship between financial intermediation, trade credit and industrial growth; corporate governance and investor protection; and global capital flows. She holds a MA in Financial Economics from the American University and a Ph.D. in Finance and Economics from Columbia University, Graduate School of Business.
