URI DADUSH is Director of the International Trade Department and has also managed the Development Prospects Group since 1997. From May 2000 to July 2002, he held a joint appointment as Chair of the Economic Policy Sector Board and Director of Economic Policy, and Director of the Development Prospects Group. He joined the World Bank in 1992 as Chief of the International Economic Analysis and Prospects Division in the Development Economics Vice Presidency. Before joining the World Bank, Uri Dadush held positions as President of the Economic Intelligence Unit (part of The Economist Group), and Group Vice President, International, for Data Resources, Inc. He has also served as a senior consultant with McKinsey and Co. in Italy and Denmark. He received B.A. and M.A. degrees in Economics from Hebrew University and a Ph.D. in Business Economics from Harvard University.
