Claudio E. Montenegro is an economist and statistician with the World Bank's Development Research Group. He has held several positions at the University of Chile in Santiago, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the World Bank. He has a Masters in Economics from the University of Maryland at College Park and a Masters in Statistics from George Washington University. His research interests are labor economics, international trade, poverty, and applied statistical methods. His research has been published in several books and academic journals.
