Team members gave two presentations on the WDR 2006, at a parallel session and at a dinner for GDN donors comments received include:

• On the intrinsic argument, the best literature to draw from may not be the behavioral economics literature.  Other disciplines have been saying these things for a long time. 

• We should be talking much more about the reasons behind the inequalities in Chapter 1, adding a discussion on determinants.

• The concept of equity is defined in different ways by different people and the definition the WDR uses now is not in line with all of them.  The team is aware of this but finds the definition used in the report useful for its purposes.
