Registration:   

Registration is by invitation only. Please note that only officially confirmed participants may attend the conference.

Registration will take place from 8:30 am on Monday, March 9, 2009 outside the Eugene Black Auditorium in the World Bank H Building where the opening session will be held immediately afterwards.  Please use the side entrance on G Street between 19th and 20th Streets and note that the front entrance to the building is under construction.  Participants will be asked to provide photo identification, such as a passport, and will need to have their bags checked by Security.  Each person will be issued with a visitor pass that they will need to enter all World Bank buildings during the conference.

Participants who arrive during the opening session will still be able to collect their security passes at Black Auditorium.  However, those who will not be attending the opening session will instead collect their visitor pass and go through a security screening at the MC Building Visitor Center, located on 18th Street near the corner with Pennsylvania Avenue.  Please direct the security staff to contact Mrs. Pauline Kokila at 202-473-3716 who will be authorized to issue the visitor's pass.  Participants will not be allowed to enter any World Bank building without their visitor pass. 

Directions:

The conference will be held in two adjacent buildings of the World Bank Group.  The opening and closing sessions will be held in Eugene Black Auditorium in the World Bank H Building at 600 19th Street NW (please use the side entrance on G Street). 

All of the thematic sessions will be held in the World Bank MC Building at 1818 H Street NW; participants can use the 19th Street entrance around the corner from the Eugene Black Auditorium or the front entrance on Pennsylvania Avenue to access the MC Building.  The thematic sessions will be held concurrently in three rooms: 13-121 (13th floor), 2-800 (2nd floor) and 10-100 (10th floor).

Computers:

Arrangements have been made to provide access to a limited number of computers for those participants not carrying laptops to the check their emails during the conference.  Additional information on the location and procedure for using these computers will be provided at the conference.

Wireless internet is available in the World Bank MC Building upon request.  Participants wishing to access the wireless network should let the conference staff know during registration so that their password can be emailed to them.

Hotel Accomodation:

Visas:

Visa arrangements are the responsibility of the participants. The organizers will issue a letter of invitation for visa purposes for accepted conference participants who request it.
