Comments:These data were collected in 2007 and represent the economic situation in Timor Leste at that time.  More recent data on many of the topics covered in this survey can be accessed on the website of the Timor Leste National Statistics Directorate. 
The data from the Timor Leste 2008 extension survey are also being distributed with the main survey data.  The extension survey revisited one third of the households in May-December 2008 to explore different facets of household welfare and behavior in the country.
