The Seminar Series not only contributes to the intellectual life of researchers but also benefits interested Bank staff through the debate of ideas and policies that can enrich their work experience. This annually updated report aggregates governance indicators for over 212 countries and territories over the period 1996–2007, for six dimensions of governance: voice and accountability, political stability and absence of violence, government effectiveness, regulatory quality, rule of law, and control of corruption.
