The book was edited by Ataman Aksoy and John Beghin, with guidance from the former and current Chief Economists, Nicholas Stern and François Bourguignon, and the Director of the Prospects Group and the Trade Department, Uri Dadush.
Editors M. Ataman Aksoy has been working with the Development Prospects Group recently as principal author of the report on Developing Countries and Global Agricultural Trade. He retired from the Bank in 2003 as Economic Adviser to the Development Prospects Group.
