The Annual Bank Conferences on Development Economics (ABCDE) are a well-known series of conferences that facilitate the discussion of new knowledge about development. First held in Washington DC in 1988, the series has become broader in scope as the world's economies have become more interconnected and challenges have grown more complex. ABCDE 2009 Korea
Organized in Seoul, Korea on June 22-24 by the World Bank and the Govt of Korea (Ministry of Strategy and Finance and the Korea Development Institute) on the theme "Lessons from East Asia and the Financial Crisis".
